Overview

Genentech Charitable Contributions Genentech will consider charitable contribution requests from nonprofit organizations that are recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as tax exempt, public charities under sections 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and are located in the United States. In addition, Genentech will consider requests for funding from governmental organizations located in the United States where the purpose of the request is to support a charitable, patient education and/or advocacy, health science or community purpose. Thus, eligible grantees may include public elementary and secondary schools, as well as public colleges and universities and public hospitals.

Genentech receives thousands of charitable requests each year. While it is not possible for every organization to receive funding, those that are in alignment with the company's focused initiatives are given careful consideration.
